No. Your selected model is read and converted inside your browser. The site downloads the conversion engine when needed, but does not send your model to a server. Closing the tab clears the working session.
Yes. The supported conversions are free to use, with no account required. The current limit is one file at a time, up to 50 MB and one million output triangles.
No. This version exports mesh formats only. It does not reconstruct CAD surfaces or parametric history from triangles, and it does not export STEP or IGES.
This version focuses on static mesh geometry and normals. Exports use geometry only or a neutral material. Textures, animation, rigging, and CAD feature history are not retained. Animated or compressed glTF geometry may be rejected.
Mesh coordinate values are preserved without automatic rescaling. STEP and IGES imports are normalized to millimeters. STL and OBJ do not reliably define units, while glTF usually uses meters. Check import units in the destination app.
Yes. Download the result, then open a compatible mesh format in Reactor 3D to cut, combine, or modify the model in your browser. Your file is not automatically transferred between sites.
